The first step in evaluating a patient for hearing loss is a comprehensive ear,
nose and throat examination by an otolaryngologist. A full diagnostic audiological
evaluation is then performed by a licensed audiologist. After careful consultation,
additional testing can be completed in our office.
Our office offers a wide range of hearing
aids from several manufacturers. Basic circuits as well as programmable digital
circuits are available. Extensive electroacoustic testing will be performed to
verify hearing aid performance with each patient.
Every hearing aid dispensed has a 30 day trial period. Patients can try their
aids for a month without obligation. All aids also come with a 1-2 year manufacturer
warranty. |
